It costs a lot to produce a bad product.
Quality assurance is more than just manual testing. Today’s systems are more complex than traditional approaches can handle. New automated test techniques have evolved allowing machines to exhaustively and automatically test themselves for errors. Compared to traditional manual testing techniques, automated testing can save over 80% of the cost and time of manual testing while producing much higher levels of uptime in the initial release of a new or replacement system.
In our Company we are following both manual and some automated processes to give better quality to our Customers.
After receiving files from Customer, we are reviewing and listing out Customer’s requirements.
Project Team: A Team is consists of a Project Manager with Team Leader and production team. Production team size may very as per the volume of the project. Project Manager will choose to whom to take for the project and decide how many team members to take for a project.
Then among the team, there will be a project discussion about Customer’s requirements, if needed there will be a training session for the team about Customer specification. To maintain the quality level, the whole team is divided into 3 teams. They are Production, QC and QA.
Production: Project moves to Production team for work. After production the files move to QC team.
QC team: After receiving the files from production team, QC team checks the files as per the QC check list. If they found any error, then they send again to production team to resolve the errors. If there is no error they are sending the files to the next level to QA team.
QA team: After receiving the files from QC team, QA team checks the files as per their check list and over all checks. After that if they thinks file is OK now as per Customer’s requirement then they are delivering the project. |
